Teen Animals da Scientists
“Youth Uniting for Change: Connecting Global Teens' Perspectives about SDGs”
Do you know how teenagers from different countries view and achieve the UN SDGs? Join the "Youth Uniting for Change: Connecting Global Teens' Perspectives about SDGs" workshop, led by Teen Animals da Scientists (TADS) to learn more. TADS aims to advocate Sustainable Development Goals through science and dialogue through events like butterfly conservation webinars, the Scent of Sustainability project, and science fairs for underprivileged children. You can also engage with a fun game to explore the complexities of SDGs and get an eco-friendly souvenir that encapsulates the essence of sustainability at the end of the workshop.

Help 4 Refugees
"Purpose-Driven Action: Refugee Advocacy Workshop"
The workshop will begin by detailing the Six-Step Process Jordan coined for turning compassion into action. The first step is to ensure that you are driven by a purpose/cause. We will watch 4 minutes from Simon Simek’s Ted talk video titled “How Great Leaders Inspire Action” which expands on the importance of finding your “why.” Jordan will then model a few examples of people/companies that have a clear “why.” Next, students will work in their table groups to think of a few examples themselves. Jordan will walk around the room and facilitate discussion with students as they dig in. Towards the end of the workshop, each student group will choose a spokesperson to share their examples with the rest of the class.
